HKN Blog Most of you have taken a look at Dr. Everitt's Neighborhood (DEN) by now. It serves as a magazine with course reviews and well-written articles on similar topics. As an attempt to complement DEN, the blog would provide up-to-date information on such topics from multiple sources. Initiates will receive points ICTM May 2, 2009 The Mathematics Department is seeking volunteers for the ICTM (Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics) High School Math Contest to be held on the UIUC campus on Saturday, May 2, 2009. Over 3000 high school students from around the state will be here that day, and we need about 200 volunteers to proctor, grade, enter data, usher, time oral competitions and many other jobs! For most of the jobs, you don't need any special qualifications. Some volunteers are also needed during the week before May 2.
