After months in production, HKN's free and independent guide to ECE, Dr. Everitt's Neighborhood, will be available at the HKN/IEEE office at 243 Everitt starting Monday, April 6. Pick up a copy and get the inside scoop on picking courses, finding a job, ECE faculty members, and more. Important: Message for initiatesThere are three messages for initiates:- a) We request the initiates who haven’t yet created an online account on ETS (the online event tracking system), to do so ASAP. b) Also be sure to sign up for the events you have attended so far such that you could receive points for them. This also applies for the initiates who have an existing ETS account. c) Don’t have sufficient points in order to initiate this semester? Don’t worry! There are still many upcoming events in which you could participate and earn points. Keep checking the HKN website and the newsletter to keep track of them. New Meeting Time for Vision CommitteeWednesdays at 7pm in the HKN Office(243 Everitt) The HKN Vision Committee is an opportunity to help create and support new ideas within HKN. It is a great venue to have your voice heard and it is an opportunity to gain further knowledge of the organization. Meetings will now be held on Wednesdays at 7pm in the HKN Office (243 Everitt). All initiates and members are welcome. Joining the Vision Committee and participating (by attending at least 4 meetings and helping to support new ideas) will earn you 5 initiation points!
